I was doing so good there for a minute but then December and January hit and I got out of the practice of creating this monthly blog as a way to pause and reflect on how I AM or am NOT living intentionally. With the stress of the holidays and moving, I guess I got off track – but that is OKAY. However, I am trying to get back to creating more structure for myself and creating space and time for reflection because this is where I feel I can connect with my goals and make sure that I am living my days accordingly. So here goes…
The two things I am celebrating the most from February are:
1. Going to yoga for the first time in my new hometown of Leadville, CO. I was so nervous to step out of my comfort zone and go to class not knowing anyone but I did it anyway!

2. Feeling more comfortable and confident in my job at the hospital. I finally feel like I have found a rhythm and that feels really good!
The two things I am most grateful for from February are:
1. Spending Valentine’s Day on the slopes with my love. There is no place I would rather be than whizzing down a mountain enjoying the majestic mountain rocky mountain views! It was simple but perfect and all about spending quality time together. Very much US.

2. Scheduling in some R&R and exploring the hot springs at Mt. Princeton with Ryan. A much needed day of relaxation and beautiful views!

Anything to release, or let go of, from February speak now: Worrying about what is to come. Without getting into too much detail, I am now being put in a position to make a choice about where my focus needs to be in my businesses. And I’ve been stressing over what to do; however, this has not brought me any more clarity or peace. So now I release the worrying and I trust that the universe will continue to guide me in the direction I am meant to go.
The lesson I learned and am carrying forward with me from February is: Always pee before I leave work. Always fill my water bottle. And always have a full tank of gas during winter weather. ***These lessons were learned during an intense storm on my commute home from work when I-70 got shut down before I even got to Copper Mountain. I had little to no cell service and was legitimately nervous. I later found out that the lady who runs the office of our apartment complex was in a bad wreck that night and rolled her car coming down Freemont Pass just before Copper Mountain. Thank God she is okay but it was indeed a very stressful drive home that night.
My intention word(s) for March are: One step at a time.
One thing I aim to do every day in March is: Meditate. I have recently just started using the Calm and Headspace apps and I find that it helps me breathe more easily and clears my mind.
Because I am brave, here are two new/scary things I will do in March:
1. I will try Qigong with my husband. I don’t even really know what it is but I know its kind of like Tai Chi and very “flowy.” So I am going to give it a shot and just be open to experiencing something new!
2. I will set up and design a beautiful LuLaRoe in-home boutique once we move into our new home and I will schedule a local Leadville opening! Which might not actually occur until early April but that’s okay. I will work on getting the word out and inviting new local friends!
The one book I definitely want to read/FINISH in March is: “Get Over Your Damn Self: The No-BS Blueprint to Building a Life Changing Business” by Romi Neustadt.
Just for fun, I will: Plan a housewarming party to invite our friends over to see the new house that we close on March 16th! Which I am just a little bit excited about. 🙂
As an act of intentional kindness, I will…Send 3 random care packages to friends, family and/or customers just to lift their spirits. Knowing that a small surprise in the mail can brighten someone’s day because of me, makes my heart happy.
